The technology you get
It has a durable Alpha Platinum Aluminum frame with high-pivot suspension, an idler pulley, and internal storage. The bike is equipped with 170 mm of travel on both ends, featuring a FOX Rhythm 36 fork with a Float EVOL air spring and GRIP damper, paired with a Fox Performance Float X shock. It also comes with a Shimano XT drivetrain for steep climbs, a Bontrager Line Dropper, and a mixed-wheel configuration with 29" in the front and 27.5" in the rear, mounted on Bontrager Line Comp 30 Tubeless Ready wheels with a Rapid Drive hub.

Curb the kickback
The Slash+'s large upper idler wheel effectively reduces pedal kickback that’s common with high pivot suspension designs. Its strategic size and positioning also provide the perfect amount of anti-squat, improving pedaling efficiency. Additionally, the integrated lower chain guide relieves tension from the derailleur, resulting in smoother shifting and enhanced suspension performance.
TQ-HPR50 – compact, silent, powerful
The TQ-HPR50 motor boasts exceptional efficiency with an impressive power-to-weight ratio. Unlike conventional motors that rely on gears and belts, which can be bulky, noisy, or prone to wear, the TQ-HPR50 utilizes a harmonic pin-ring drive transmission. This design is compact, whisper-quiet, and delivers an incredibly smooth, natural ride experience.
Removable battery
The 580 Wh battery provides between 3 to 7 hours of ride time, depending on the mode, rider weight, and terrain. It’s discreetly housed within the downtube for a streamlined, quiet ride, but can be easily removed with a hex wrench for hassle-free charging or travel.

Ride your way
The Slash offers ample space for longer dropper posts, hefty coil shocks, wide tires, and up to 190 mm of front suspension. Additionally, it features accessory mounts under the top tube, perfect for when your internal storage is already packed with essentials.
Complete tubeless system
Before installing a tubeless setup, make sure your wheels and tires are ready to remove the rim strips and tires, Bontrager TLR rim strips enable a firmer bead lock with the tire and a more straightforward installation process overall.
Knock block
When things go awry, the knock block has your frame's back. It stops your handlebars from spinning completely around in an accident, protecting your hoses, and preventing control strikes to the top tube.
Oversized 34.9mm dropper post
The oversize diameter of the seat tube provides more stability and strength during longer rides and enables the use of more robust, faster-working internals.
Threaded bottom bracket
The Slash 8 bike is designed for the most difficult riding in the roughest conditions, featuring a more robust bottom bracket than press fit.
