    It's so perfect

You're after an enduro bike that’s efficient on the climbs and excels on the descents. You appreciate the added grip a high-pivot design offers but are most excited by the enhanced stability it provides on downhill runs. You also like the flexibility of a mixed-wheel setup, blending fast-rolling 29" wheels with the agility of 27.5" ones.

    The technology you get

It has a durable Alpha Platinum Aluminum frame with high-pivot suspension, an idler pulley, and internal storage. The bike is equipped with 170 mm of travel on both ends, featuring a FOX Rhythm 36 fork with a Float EVOL air spring and GRIP damper, paired with a Fox Performance Float X shock. It also comes with a Shimano XT drivetrain for steep climbs, a Bontrager Line Dropper, and a mixed-wheel configuration with 29" in the front and 27.5" in the rear, mounted on Bontrager Line Comp 30 Tubeless Ready wheels with a Rapid Drive hub.

    Generally

The Slash 8 is built for enduro adventures, offering long travel, excellent traction, and unwavering stability. It strikes a perfect balance between value and performance, with a FOX suspension setup and Shimano XT shifting to handle whatever the trail throws your way.

    Why would you love it?

The high-pivot suspension delivers exceptional control on intense descents, while the finely tuned anti-squat and oversized pulleys ensure surprisingly efficient pedaling. With 170 mm of travel both front and rear, it’s built to handle big jumps and conquer technical rock gardens with ease. It features a mixed-wheel setup with a fast-rolling 29" front and a stiff, agile 27.5" rear, but can also be configured as a 29er for added speed. You can further customize the Slash to match your riding style and terrain with adjustable leverage rates, a bolt-on lower shock mount for switching to a full 29er setup, and an adjustable-angle headset (sold separately). The internal storage offers a handy place for tools and snacks, standard across all models.

    The Walkthrough

    Curb the kickback

    Curb the kickback

The Slash+'s large upper idler wheel effectively reduces pedal kickback that’s common with high pivot suspension designs. Its strategic size and positioning also provide the perfect amount of anti-squat, improving pedaling efficiency. Additionally, the integrated lower chain guide relieves tension from the derailleur, resulting in smoother shifting and enhanced suspension performance.

    TQ-HPR50 – compact, silent, powerful

The TQ-HPR50 motor boasts exceptional efficiency with an impressive power-to-weight ratio. Unlike conventional motors that rely on gears and belts, which can be bulky, noisy, or prone to wear, the TQ-HPR50 utilizes a harmonic pin-ring drive transmission. This design is compact, whisper-quiet, and delivers an incredibly smooth, natural ride experience.

The 580 Wh battery provides between 3 to 7 hours of ride time, depending on the mode, rider weight, and terrain. It’s discreetly housed within the downtube for a streamlined, quiet ride, but can be easily removed with a hex wrench for hassle-free charging or travel.
